An Anonymous Aged Graphite Portrait

Early this morning, I saw my brother @ezuntimmy try finish up a portrait he started about two days ago. It was of a viking and the beards and ornaments were very well detailed so he took his time mapping them out. What called me to the drawing was his use of indentation. And I felt like sharing one I did several months back. Truthfully speaking, I miss using graphite and would go back to using it soon but in the meantime, I'll keep building my digital skills.

The reference was one of an anonymous man and his face had lots of drama and story to tell. I just couldn't scroll past it. It so happened that at the time, I wanted to try out the same technique my brother was using and the portrait came at the right time...hope you love it.
