Process of Factory Drawing

in Sketchbook2 years ago

Here is a series of process photos, depicting a sketch I drew of the old factory on Strange St. in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

I start on the right hand side with the train rail gate in the foreground.

Then I begin to fill out some of the background buildings.

Adding some vegetation and getting started on the opposite gate.

I found that I didn't draw so much factory as railway gate and trees! Oh well, the idea is to capture the scene as it emerges to me. Hope you liked it!
