Hello friends I hope you are very well on this Saturday. Today I want to show you my latest work in terms of drawings. It is a rose that I made from a photograph of the flowers that are in the garden of my house. There are some colors but I liked this one to draw. I wanted to experience something new while thinking about life and nature so this was the result. Hope you like.
Hola amigos espero que se encuentren muy bien en este día de sábado. Hoy quiero mostrarles mi último trabajo en cuanto a dibujos. Se trata de una rosa que hice a partir de una fotografía de las flores que estan en el jardín de mi casa. Hay de algunos colores pero me gustó esta para dibujar. Quise experimentar algo nuevo mientras que pensaba en la vida y en la naturaleza así que este fue el resultado. Espero que les guste.
For this drawing we used letter-size opaline white cardboard. We start by making a soft sketch with a special 4H lead pencil to delineate. Once the object is done I start by painting the background, I always like to come from the background towards the object. With light green colors we are making the first parts that will be illuminated.
Para este dibujo utilizamos cartulina blanca Opalina de tamaño carta. Comenzamos haciendo un boceto suave con lápiz de mina 4H especial para delinear. Una vez hecho el objeto comienzo pintando el fondo, siempre me gusta venir desde el fondo hacia el objeto. Con colores verdes claros vamos haciendo las primeras partes que serán iluminadas.
Then with darker shades of green we make the deepest parts of the background to give the effect out of focus. We use a soft brush to blend and then apply two more coats using the same colors.
Seguidamente con tonos mas oscuros de verde hacemos las partes mas profundas del fondo para dar el efecto desenfocado. Utilizamo un pincel suave para difuminar y luego aplicar dos capas más usando los mismos colores.
Once beautifully finished with half of the background in green we began to paint the other half but with graphite pencil. We start using the pencil from the lightest to the darkest. The process is the same as the previous one, we apply several layers and blend with a soft brush.
Once we have finished with half of the background in green we begin to paint the other half but with graphite pencil. Comenzamos usando el lapiz desde el mas claro hasta el más oscuro. El proceso es igual que el anterior, aplicamos varias capas y difuminamos con un pincel suave.
Once beautiful finished with the background now we start with the flower. We paint the half that is in the black and white part red. We start with a light pink to locate the illuminated parts and from then on we go darker with oranges, scarlet red and crimson. For the darkest parts we can mix red with purple.
Una vez que hermos terminado con el fondo ahora comenzamos con la flor. La mitad que esta en la parte en blanco y negro la pintamos de rojo. Comenzamos con un rosa claro para ubicar las partes iluminadas y de ahí en adelante vamos oscureciendo con naranjas, rojo escarlata y carmesí. Para las partes m[as oscuras podemos mezclar el rojo con el violeta.
We finish by painting the other part of the flower with a graphite pencil. Using the same method above. We must try to follow the same tonic of the red color, where we end with a dark color, there we will use the darker graphite pencil as well as the lighter part. In this way we will finish the rose petals.
Finalizamos pintando la otra parte de la flor con lápiz de grafito. Utilizando el mismo método anterior. Debemos tratar de seguir la misma tónica del color rojo, donde finalizamos con color oscuro ahí usaremos el lápiz de grafito más oscuro así también con la parte más clara.. De esta manera terminaremos los pétalos de la rosa.
Finally we give a few touches in each part of the drawing that we have divided into 4 as you can see. This drawing resembles the Yin Yang symbol to me. One part contains the other, we cannot be totally good, we retain some evil to remember that we are not perfect. We are not completely evil, we keep something of the good in us, it is to remember that no one has gone so far that they cannot return. Por ultimo damos unos retoques en cada parte del dibujo que la hemos dividido en 4 como pueden observar. Este dibujo se me asemeja al símbolo del Yin Yang. Una parte contiene a la otra, no podemos der totalmente buenos, conservamos algo de maldad para recordar que no somos perfectos. No somos completamente malvados, conservamos algo del bien en nosotros, es para recordar que nadie ha ido tan lejos que no pueda volver. Eres un artista porque haces arte. Tuviste mucha visión para hacer este dibujo, se ve genial la rosa partida a la mitad a color a un lado y en grafito al otro. El fondo intercambiado también te quedó genial.
