Hello friends, today I have made a beautiful dog of the Labrador breed, I really like this breed of puppies because its fur is beautiful, when it shines it has very beautiful bluish tones. I have made this drawing on black cardboard with white pencils, to practice photorealism a bit, I hope you like it.
Hola amigos hoy he realizado un hermoso perro de la raza labrador, me gusta mucho esta raza de cachorros porque su pelaje es bellísimo, cuando brilla tiene unos tonos azulados muy hermosos. He realizado este dibujo en cartulina negra con lápices blancos, para practicar un poco el fotorrealismo espero les guste.

I used the school white color to make the sketch lines very simple and clean so they can be easily erased. I didn't use sketch geometric figures as in previous drawings, now I feel that I depend less on them and thus I can start the drawing directly.
Utilicé el color blanco escolar para hacer las líneas del boceto muy sencillas y limpias para poder borrarlas con facilidad. No utilicé figuras geométricas de boceto como en dibujos anteriores, ahora siento que dependo menos de ellas y así puedo comenzar el dibujo directamente.

The next step is to make the eyes, I made them a little yellowish, fading to brown at the edges. In the same way, using white charcoal I made the first edges to delimit half of the puppy's face, so I made the nose and with the black color I darkened the shadows in the lower part of the nose.
El siguiente paso es hacer los ojos, se los hice un tono un poco amarillento degradando hacia el color café en los bordes. De la misma forma utilizando color blanco de carboncillo hice los primeros bordes para delimitar la mitad del rostro del perrito, así fui haciendo la nariz y con el color negro fui oscureciendo las sombras de la parte inferior de la nariz.

Then, with the white charcoal pencil, I began to draw the fur on the part of the face since it is the most intense white color and thus I can better contrast with the shaded areas. This is how he was making short but fast strokes.
Después con el lápiz carboncillo blanco comencé a dibujar el pelaje en la parte de la cara ya que es el color blanco más intenso y así puedo hacer mejor el contraste con las zonas sombreadas. Así fue haciendo trazos cortos pero rápidos.

Next and to finish, continue modeling with the white pencil the entire visible area of the portrait in terms of fur. To make the contrast look better I used black for the shadows, and in the even darker parts, such as the chest, I used a black marker. In this way the Labrador puppy was finished.
Seguidamente y para finalizar continue modelando con el lápiz blanco toda la zona visible del retrato en cuanto al pelaje. Para que el contraste se viera mejor utilicé color negro para las zombras, y en las partes aun mas oscuras como por ejemplo en el pecho utilicé marcador negro. De esta manera quedó finalizado el perrito Labrador.
This is how this little Labrador puppy was finished, while I was drawing it I remembered that a great friend had one as a pet, so I wrote to her asking about her dog and she gave me the sad news that she had passed away a month ago. I had the opportunity to make a portrait of her puppy last year and she was so happy that I was very sorry for her loss. Our pets are more than that, they are true companions that when they leave we feel that something of us also leaves with them. Así quedo finalizado este pequeño perrito Labrador, mientras lo dibujaba recordé que una gran amiga tenia uno de mascota, así que le escribir preguntando por su perro y me dio la triste noticia de que había fallecido hace un mes. Yo tuve la oportunidad de realizarle un retrato a su perrito el año pasado y habia quedado tan contenta que sentí mucho su pérdida. Nuestras mascosas son más que eso, son verdaderos compañeros que cuando se van sentimos que algo de nosotros también se va con ellos.
