Good morning everyone,
Today I want to share with us a portrait drawing of a beautiful old lady I draw last week. This woman is very special to me and lot of people in my church. She was and still is the children choir mistress and she has been doing that for 40years now. Last week Sunday was the anniversary and I was asked to make a portrait drawing of her. As you all know my current state of health, I couldn’t make a pencil drawing but thankfully my iPad has a charcoal brush which gives the drawing a pencil feel. With that, I was able to create this portrait and even though it wasn’t my 100percent, I’m still glad it came out well.
Most important they loved it and it brought smiles to her face.

It's a beautiful piece. I wish you used a black frame for it. It would have added more beauty to the work.
Thank you so much dear, I couldn't find a nice black frame at the time. The black and brown ones I saw were so plain and ugly. The golden was the only nice available one.
For me, I do prefer the all black and plain frames. Probably you don't.
Anyway, it's still good on this one.
Thank you dear. I don't really like the plain ones. I prefer the black beautiful ones. The plain ones looked so old fashioned to me. It's just my taste jare don't mind me.🙈🙈🙈
