I have never tried to draw a watery effect before...this drawing took way longer to complete than I would like to admit.
Just a simple sketch to start with. I expected it to be just a quick drawing.
Just winging it for the water and background...with mixed results. 😅
I am still not fully sure I like it...maybe I should have gone darker, but after three days of hatching and scratching at the background I was over it. Maybe I will revisit this one in a few months, or just draw something better. Either way, I like it a little bit at least.

The only constructive criticism I'd give is to have a clearer horizon dividing the water effect (which is brilliant !) from the sky. But it's a very minor detail, and I still love it.
