Hi everyone! Today I would like to share my steps in creating an ink portrait of the famous Clint Eastwood.
I have seen his more recent films like Gran Torino, million dollar baby and seen The Good the Bad and the Ugly however, I have not seen his other films.
He always seems to be squinting and frowning and I wanted to capture this iconic facial expression in this drawing.
He has I would say smaller eyes than average, a slightly longer face and very thin lips. Only a few pencil lines were needed as a base for the drawing.
I then added the darkest tones with pure black ink.
Mixing water with the ink allowed me to get a variety of tones to create the crucial details in the face.
Finished Result!
