Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I haven't been able to practice portraiture recently, but I did manage to do one recently and I really liked the result. It helped me to continue exploring this wonderful world. I finished this digital illustration today and I want to share the final result with you: a semi-realistic female portrait. What I enjoyed most was the expression on the female character's face.

To begin this illustration, I used a visual reference I found on Pinterest. This image was the main starting point for bringing the idea I had in mind to life. Below, I'm going to share some images that show the progress of the illustration.

Hola a todos, espero se encuentren bien, en estos dias no he podido realizar practica de un retrato, pero en estos dias si pude hacer uno y el resultado me gusto mucho y me sirvio para seguir explorando este gran mundo. Esta ilustracion digital lo acabo de terminar el dia de hoy y quiero compartir con ustedes el resultado final, la practica de un retrato femenino al estilo semirrealista. Lo que más disfruté fue la expresion del rostro del personaje femenino.

Para comenzar en esta ilustracion, me basé en una referencia visual que encontré en Pinterest. Esta imagen fue lo principal para empezar el materializar la idea que tenía en mente. A continuación, les voy a compartir algunas imágenes que muestran el progreso de la ilustración.

Process

As in any illustration process, I began with the sketching phase, drawing lines that allowed me to define the proportions and main structure of the character. Once this foundation was established, I moved on to the coloring stage, and then added shadows and nuances to give the portrait volume and depth.

Como en todo proceso de ilustración, inicié con la fase del boceto, trazando líneas que me permitieran definir las proporciones y la estructura principal del personaje. Una vez establecida esta base, avancé hacia la etapa del color, para posteriormente incorporar sombras y matices que aportaran volumen y profundidad al retrato.
