This time around I drew none other than the main protagonist of the best selling manga of all time "Monkey D. Luffy". Luffy ate the gomu gomu fruit which turns his body to have the properties of a rubber. If Chopper for me is the cutest anime character ever, then Luffy is my favorite anime character the reason why is that because he have all the traits of being a cool, funny, friendly and strong at the same time. Okay enough of that, let's move on to my drawing process.
Monkey D. Luffy,[1] also known as "Straw Hat Luffy" and commonly as "Straw Hat",[7] is the main protagonist of the manga and anime, One Piece. He is the founder and captain of the increasingly infamous and powerful Straw Hat Pirates, as well as one of its top three fighters.[24] His lifelong dream is to become the Pirate King by finding the legendary treasure left behind by the late Gol D. Here is my drawing process through showing it by gif. First I sketch a rough draft using no. 2 pencil, then traced it using 0.5mm UniPin and shaded the hair with the use of a marker. After that I erased all the pencil draft to clean the mess. Lastly, detailed the colors using Prisma Color Pencils.
