Buenas tardes, noches o días, dependiendo de la hora que sea en su localia
El dia de hoy estamos un poco de regreso, de repente nos desaparecemos y luego volvemos, ahí un poco ocupados con las vainas de la vida, las vicisitudes o desniveles de la misma
En esta ocasión tocó realizar a Coastal Sentry, creo que es un que había realizado hace mucho, en aquel entonces no me convencio ademas siempre es interesante volver a algo hecho y tratar de presentar con algo distinto
Dicha carta rememora bastante a una habitante del fondo del mar, lo que denominariamos como una sirena, además de contar con una lanza, haciendo alusión a ser de una tribu no se si guerrera, pero por lo menos que está en conflictos.

Good afternoon, evening, or morning, depending on the time where you are.
Today we're back a little bit. Suddenly we disappear and then we come back, a little busy with the ups and downs of life, its vicissitudes and unevenness.
This time, it was Coastal Sentry's turn. I think it's one I did a long time ago, but at the time, I wasn't convinced. Besides, it's always interesting to revisit something you've done and try to present it in a different way.
This card is quite reminiscent of a sea creature, what we would call a mermaid, and it also has a spear, alluding to a tribe that I don't know if it's warrior-like, but at least it's in conflict.

De manera inicial partimos de algo típico, la base, en este caso volvemos a los trazos, no se si decir que bastante generales o algo más definidos a lo que buscamos, lo que si es que lo que sea que hice con la musculatura de los brazos es algo que no me termina de convencer, se mira extraño, tambien estaria bueno si le cambiara un poco el mood, como si al ser una sirena la dibujara fuera del mar, también como humanizando un poco más los personajes

Initially, we start with something typical, the base. in this case, we go back to the lines, I don't know if I should say they are quite general or something more defined to what we are looking for, what I do know is that whatever I did with the musculature of the arms is something that doesn't quite convince me, it looks strange, it would also be good if I changed the mood a little, as if, being a mermaid, I drew her out of the sea, also humanizing the characters a little more.

Seguimos con un poco de línea art, el cual es básicamente el boceto que tenía con un poco de detalles y en blanco, tal vez me gustaría hacer algo mas detallado, no más rebuscados en la complejidad de lo que se muestra, pero si el segmentarlo mas con el lineart, por que a su vez siento que del boceto es como si no cambiara mucho y solo anexara ciertos detalles, algo que iremos mejorando.

We continue with a little bit of line art, which is basically the sketch I had with a few details and in white. Perhaps I would like to do something more detailed, not more elaborate in terms of complexity than what is shown, but rather segment it more with the line art, because I feel that the sketch doesn't change much and only adds certain details, something that we will improve on.

Para terminar el coloreado, casi siempre es lo que más dudas me genera, antes tenia unos pinceles especiales para dar ciertos acabados, pero he decidido usar los sólidos que vienen por defecto en el clip studio, considero que son lo básico, no se ocupa más, a lo mejor otros para lograr algún estilo más de dibujo tradicional, o con cierta porosidad, pero creo que es lo justo, así mismo por algún motivo me agarre editando sobre una misma capa, me gustaría segmentarlo en la totalidad, pero ahi si fue algo que se me fue

Finishing the coloring is almost always what causes me the most doubts. I used to have special brushes to achieve certain finishes, but I've decided to use the default solids in Clip Studio. I consider them to be the basics; you don't need anything else, except maybe others to achieve a more traditional drawing style, or with a certain porosity, but I think that's enough. Also, for some reason, I found myself editing on the same layer. I would like to segment it completely, but that was something I missed.

Al final le quise añadir ciertos detalles al fondo, como si fuera de profundidad del océano, pero con ciertas luces, como si permea algo de luz, además de dar el efecto de desvanecido, con el apartado del mezclador de colores, es algo que me gusta de colocar todo en una sola capa, tal vez seria mas optimo el segmentar como por partes, pero el no tener como el miedo de mezclar colores que lleguen a contrastar tanto o que de repente en la saturación cambien tanto, si no que luego le doy al mezclar y queda bien, no homogenizado, pero escalada, decente.
Creo que medio se alcanza a preciar, pero entre medias del pintado fue cuando hice el cambio de ciertos pinceles a los que vienene por defecto, dicho cambio fue por mas que nada cierta capa que no inclui que no me gustaba nada como se veia el sombreado, se miraba muy opaco y traslucido, al inicio cuando tenia el fondo blanco se mirbaa bien, pero cuando pinte el fondo de negro se miraba raro, como si se perdieran entre si, me gusta el contrasque que existe, se mira claro que es un fondo y existe cierta profundidad.

In the end, I wanted to add certain details to the background, as if it were the depth of the ocean, but with certain lights, as if some light were permeating it, as well as giving it a faded effect, with the color mixer section. I like to put everything on a single layer, although it might be better to segment it into parts, but I don't have to worry about mixing colors that contrast too much or suddenly change too much in saturation. Instead, I just hit mix and it looks good, not homogenized, but scaled, decent.
I think you can kind of appreciate it, but in the middle of painting, I changed some of the default brushes. The change was mainly because of a certain layer that I didn't include, as I didn't like the way the shading looked. It looked very opaque and translucent. At first, when I had the white background, it looked fine, but when I painted the background black, it looked strange, as if they were lost in each other. I like the contrast that exists; you can clearly see that it is a background and there is a certain depth.
