Hello everyone, today I wanted to paint a full body piece even though I was sceptical about the canvas size handling the details I wanted to see. I love painting faces more than anything so I think I've sacrificed on that pleasure just to have this work done. I like it though and you can find it below.
I started with a sketch of my idea
Then I proceeded to fill in the base colors
I then added some highlights and shadows
And then I began playing with the soft glow blend mode to add more light to the piece. I also use the glow brush to add the x detail you can see on the coat and then thought to add some white to the hair just to make it a little more exciting to look at. This was a playful piece I did to experiment and see where it'll lead me to.
