Greetings dear community, welcome to my art blog, today I bring you another delivery of exotic animals, from the Asian continent, these are the Koi fish or Koi carp, they are freshwater fish, of varied and striking colors, these fish are commonly related to the Chinese Feng Shui culture, where depending on the variety of color that the fish has, it has a different meaning and symbolism, representing certain aspects or results in life, that is why they are so popular in works of art, clothing, tattoos and as pets, although due to their large size they are usually raised in ponds, reaching specimens that exceed 120 cm and 40 kilograms in weight.
Saludos querida comunidad, sean bienvenidos a mi blog de arte, hoy les traigo otra entrega de animales exóticos, proveniente del continente asiático, se trata de los peces Koi o Carpas Koi, son peces de agua dulce, de variados y llamativos colores, comúnmente se relaciona estos peces a la cultura del Feng Shui Chino, donde dependiendo la variedad de color que tenga el pez, posee un significado y simbolismo diferente, representando ciertos aspectos o resultados en la vida, por eso son tan populares en obras de arte, ropa, tatuajes y como mascotas, aunque por su gran tamaño suelen criarse en estanques, llegando a encontrarse especímenes que sobrepasan los 120 cm y 40 kilogramos de peso.
Legends of the Koi fish
There are many fantasy stories related to this fish, but the most popular is the legend in which a Koi fish swam upstream, through waterfalls and other obstacles to reach the top of the mountain. At the top of the mountain was the "Dragon Gate". It is said that when the koi finally reached the top, it turned into a dragon.
Existen muchos relatos fantasiosos relacionados a este pez, pero la más popular es la leyenda en la que un pez koi nadaba río arriba, a través de cascadas y otros obstáculos para llegar a la cima de la montaña. En la cima de la montaña estaba la "Puerta del Dragón". Se dice que cuando el koi finalmente llegó a la cima, se convirtió en un dragón.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
- Android tablet.
- Capacitive pen (Stylus).
- Ibis Paint X program.
- Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
