FREE PATTERN FOR CREATORS - Biology

in Sketchbook20 days ago

Hi folks, I decided to create a series of illustrations for the HIVE community of creators. These illustrations are solely funded by community upvotes!
I hope to be able to support the growth of our community, and since your upvoted are directly converted to HIVE, this means awesome compensation for your favorite artist! 😊

This episode is directed to our Biologist friends out there! I've seen awesome posts in our community C/ MES Science. So maybe they can use this pattern for their posts, YouTube channels, personal products, and whatnot. Let's jump into it.

How did I make this?

It all started with a bit of research. Scientists involved with biological stuff have a bunch of technology and fancy equipment at their disposal. They also work with many different organisms I would not dare name. 😂

I did manage to include a few items here which I found significant for a vast majority of them:

  • Eukaryotic cells (cells with a nucleus)
  • Procaryotic cells (cells without a nucleus) - which means bacteria, I guess?
  • Neurons
  • Plant cells (which are different than mammalian cells)
  • Glass Pipettes!
  • Automatic pipettes (Fancy!)
  • An electrophoresis gel (a gel scientists use to separate DNA or proteins based on...their...molecular...weight?)
  • Scalp! - Gotta cut those organic tissues open somehow!
  • Leaf
  • A microtiter plate
  • A bacteriophage virus (a spaceship-looking virus that kills bacteria)
  • Some sperm cells
  • Staphylococcus aureus (A bacteria that looks like a bunch of grapes)
  • Filamentous fungi
  • Glassware (An "Erlenmeyer flask" and a "Becker flask")
  • Some microtubes (People call these Eppendorf tubes, but I guess that is just a brand or something)
  • Vaccine vials
  • Microscopy glass slides and coverslips
  • Falcon tubes (plastic tubes folks use to make and store solutions)

I'm guessing it's pretty complete, right!?
Do let me know if you need any other icons included! And please add references! 🙃 Since I draw them all by hand, references really help! 😆

I used Photoshop Pattern Preview mode to make sure that this illustration tiles. So you can compose an image of any size just by adding copies side-by-side.

Here is the black-and-white version of it:

When tiled, you can achieve something like this:

You can add your logo to this pattern and make a few edits to make it perfect for your YouTube channel!

This logo was made using Bing AI.

I hope you enjoyed this, folks! I look forward to making you more of these! Leave your comment below, and please suggest which pattern I should make next!

It seems like a good background for your WhatsApp hahaha

Absolutely!! People can use those as background images for their cell phones, laptops, or desktop computers. Good catch! ;)
