Hello, fellow illustrators and painters!!!
This is another opportunity to reach out to you and introduce you to another of my works. This time, I'm sharing an illustration that will be part of my children's novel project The Lighthouse of Miracles, a fragment of which I recently shared in the #Freewriters community.
This is a project I need to fully embrace. It's not just about bringing a story and its characters to life within my literary creativity, but also about giving it other meanings with the illustrations I create to evoke those other stories that a drawing can and should contribute to the art of illustration. This is how I understand it, and it's one of my fundamental principles.
Within the image, I depict the moment when Nana, the little luminous girl, dreams on Lucerna Newmoons lap. If you'd like to learn more about what's happening and what's happening, here's the link to the part of the novel I'm referring to:

Hola, amigos dibujantes y pintores!!!
Es esta una nueva oportunidad para llegar antes ustedes y presentarles otro de mis trabajos. En esta ocasión les comparto una ilustración que formará parte de mi proyecto de novela infantil El Faro de los Milagros, de la cual recientemente he compartido un fragmento en la comunidad de #Freewriters.
Este es un proyecto que necesito asumir a cabalidad. No solo se trata de darle vida a una historia y a sus personajes dentro de mi creatividad literaria sino de provocar otros sentidos a la misma con las ilustraciones que pueda ir generando, para convocar esas otras historias que un dibujo puede y debe aportar en lo que al arte de la ilustración respecta. Así lo entiendo y es uno de mis presupuestos fundamentales.
