The Art of Spontaneity: A glimpse to my 'almost' thrown out creation

in Sketchbook4 years ago

We, people, most of the times, tend to plan almost everything in our life. And when I say everything, it also includes the fact we have certain expectations to our future. Some may even planned it out to the extent of their death. I think a part of the reason why we tend to do that is because we're afraid of uncertainty. We don't want doubts lingering to our every decision whenever we encounter crossroads. But I think sometimes, there's also a good path to it's counterpart. Being spontaneous. I mean don't get me wrong, planning is good and great. It actually is, as majority of the people may say, a responsible thing to do especially when it involves financial stuff. But hear me out with this one.

As I was cleaning some stuff, I saw this planner of mine back when I was in high school and was amazed on how i forgot about this thing. An ironical front page of this notebook. Spontaneity in a planner. I remember back then that I was so bored I started doodling the corner part where you can see the santa hat. It's actually Christmas season that time and I'm in our math class.

I remember after finishing that piece of a doodle, from that point, everything just surged in. The notes twinkling sign, the astronaut, the seperating heart in the middle. Everything in just a day with my pens and a protractor (we're on the lesson of angles that time) unplanned at all. And seeing it, I'm pretty proud of myself.

And from that moment I realized, a little bit of spontaneity could actually result to something unimnaginable. It may not always be good, but it is something in a time of nothing. And at most fo some sorts, I'll probably go with the former one. So don't be afraid if your planned out stuff don't go as planned. It's okay. Improvise. Be spontaneous coz you can never know what you're capable of you amazing human. And... I guess that woud be all. I really hope you like it.

PS. In the end, I haven't used it all as a planner. Lol.
