Good morning my people, I hope you are very very well and welcome to a new art post; Today I want to share with you a work in which I try to build something closely related to sadness and melancholy and that is why I created this drawing that I decided to title Rachel and the deep sadness of a blue night. Basically for this drawing I wanted to try to create a girl with a slight feeling of melancholy on her face; I also wanted to experiment a bit with a mix of different colors to fine tune my drawing and I hope you like the process a lot:
Buenos días mi gente, espero que estén muy muy bien y sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post de arte; el día de hoy les quiero compartir una obra en la que trate de construir algo muy relacionado con la tristeza y la melancolía y es por ello que cree este dibujo que decidí titular Rachel y la profunda tristeza de una noche Azulada. Básicamente para este dibujo quise probar el crear una chica a la cual se le apreciara un ligero sentimiento de melancolía en su rostro; también quise experimentar un poco con una mezcla de colores diferentes para matizar bien mi dibujo y espero les guste mucho el proceso:
PROCESS / PROCESO
First of all, I focused on building a female character that in this case would be Rachel, at first I had no concrete idea of how to draw her, but then as I was making strokes and building a base everything was much easier; I decided to create Rachel as if she was sitting on the railing of a balcony, with the night open behind her. Once the line-art was finished, I could dedicate myself to finding colors that would give the sense I wanted to this work, in this case I focused on looking for medium sandy colors to start creating a base for the skin, for example.
Primero que nada, me enfoque en construir un personaje femenino que en este caso seria Rachel, en un principio no tenia idea concreta de como dibujarla, pero luego a medida que fui realizando trazos y construyendo una base todo fue mucho más fácil; decidí crear a Rachel como si se encontrara sentada en el barandal de un balcón, con la noche abierta a sus espaldas. Terminado el Line-art allí si pude dedicarme bien a buscar colores que dieran el sentido que quería a esta obra, en este caso me enfoqué en buscar colores medio arenosos para comenzar a crear una base para la piel, por ejemplo.
After applying the base colors the next thing I did was to start with the texturing and volumizing of each of the layers, first I started by giving volume to Rachel's skin and for this I used 3 brushes: the airbrush, a square tip and also the blending brush; this to soften the strokes on the skin and in this particular case to make her look much more feminine. Add some blush details on the cheeks to give a little more tenderness to the skin, then continue with a soft brown on the eyes and a very intense passion red on the lips.
Terminando de aplicar los colores base lo siguiente que hice fue comenzar con el texturizado y voluminado de cada una de las capas, primero inicie dándole volumen a la piel de Rachel y para esto use 3 pinceles: el aerógrafo, uno de punta cuadrada y también el de difuminado; esto para suavizar los trazos en la piel y que en este caso en particular se vea mucho mas femenina. Agregue algunos detalles de rubor en las mejillas para dar un poco más de ternura a la piel; luego continue pitando los ojos con un marrón suave y los labios con un rojo pasión muy intenso.
Having given a good appearance to Rachel's body the next step in the painting process was the application of colors to the dress of the character, for this I had a dark base color and starting from it I began to apply shades of black gray, gray and light brown to build a very delicate texture, as if it were a material similar to silk; after finishing with the dress I moved to the detailing and relief of the hair where I used a special brush with a 3 line tip.
Habiéndole dado una buena apariencia al cuerpo de Rachel lo siguiente en el proceso de pintado fue el de la aplicación de colores al vestido del personaje, para esto tenía una base en color oscuro y partiendo de ella comencé a aplicar tonos de gris negro, gris y marrón claro para construir una textura bien delicada, como si se tratara de un material similar a al seda; luego de terminar con el vestido me pase al detallado y relieve del cabello donde emplee un pincel especial con punta de 3 líneas.
Having already created Rachel as I had more or less in mind when I started my drawing, the last thing I had to do was to create a couple more layers with some effects to highlight and achieve some last shines to areas such as the eyes, lips and a little on the clothing. At the end I chose to create an open night, full of small stars that would accompany a big full moon in the background; I also created one more layer in Rouaght mode to create a couple of tears that sprout from Rachel's eyes.
Ya habiendo logrado crear a Rachel como mas o menos tenía en mente al iniciar mi dibujo, ya lo ultimo que me quedaba era crear un par de capas mas con algunos efectos para resaltas y lograr unos últimos brillos a zonas como las de los ojos, labios y un poco en la vestimenta. Al final opte por crear una noche abierta, llena de pequeñas estrellas que acompañarían a una gran luna llena al fondo; también cree una capa más en modo (Rouaght) para crear un par de lágrimas que brotan de los ojos de Rachel.
