Hello everyone!

Today, I want to share with you my new art work. It's a random portrait drawing of a little boy, an African child with his eyes focused on a particular spot. You can feel the seriousness in those eyes.

The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used scribble technique to create this piece.

Below are my step-by-step processes:

Thank you.

Excellent work! You really captured his thoughtful expression well, especially in the eyes.

I find that pen sketches like this always have such an organic, almost "living" vibe. I've heard it said that sometimes we prefer sketches over clean lineart because our eyes see everything - especially people - in a "sketch-like" way because of all the small motions we make and perceive. Does that make sense, or am I just talking crazy talk?

Yeah, those eye say a lot.

Yeah, they do have living vibes and that's based on the prowess and skills of the artist. You absolutely do have a point.

very beautiful art made by your kids , thank you for sharing.

I wonder what he's staring at with such seriousness. Beautiful as always @maxwellmarcusart ...💜

Lol, only him knows.

This is great
I wonder what the child was looking at...lol

Thank you! I so wonder too😊

Nice drawing my brother, you always manage to amaze me what you can do with your pencil strokes, it's magnificent....a greeting @maxwellmarcusart ✌🏽

Thank you friend. Glad you so enjoy my works.

I really love the realism in your work. I still don't understand how you do it

Me too. Sometimes it seems like magic...but I think it has to do with constant practice that I've done.
