Hello everyone!

Today, I want to show you my new art work. It's a random portrait drawing of a beautiful blond skin lady.

The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used cross hatching technique to create this piece.

Below are my step-by-step processes

Step 1
From a blank sheet to traces of lines following proportional rules

Step 2
Then, to working on the darker portions - moving from shade to light

Step 3
And finally, to a full portraiture

Oh really? When I started, I struggled too but I kept practicing. I think I'm getting better gradually.
You can try sketching with pencil and then shade with pen. It's a good way to begin.

Your portraits are awesome. I quickly scanned your Instagram page! Yeah for sure, I can try that. I love to mix mediums, charcoal pencil and pen would maybe make an awesome combo! Keep up the awesome work.
