Najwa Shihab, S.H. (born September 16, 1977)[1] is an Indonesian presenter, journalist, actress, feminist, and social media activist who has Bugis and Arabic ancestry. Najwa is the second daughter of Quraish Shihab, who was the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in the era of the VII Development Cabinet and the nephew of politician Alwi Shihab. She married Ibrahim Sjarief Assegaf in 1997, and they have one son, Izzat Assegaf.
