Quick study of a beetle, digital sketchbook.
Estudio rápido de un escarabajo, sketchbook digital.
This drawing is part of my daily practice sketchbook. It was a simple study of the shape and structure of a beetle, and I also added some notes about the insects around it, along with watercolor stains and textures. I was testing a new set of brushes for Ibis Paint that I created myself.
This small drawing and post are part of my daily practice record, but also of the insect drawing challenge I’m participating in. I wanted to achieve a more complicated angle than the aerial views of insects I usually do.

Fue un estudio simple de la forma y estructura de un escarabajo, además agregué algunas anotaciones sobre los insectos alrededor y algunas manchas y texturas de acuarelas. Estuve probando un nuevo set de pinceles para Ibis Paint creado por mí.
Este pequeño dibujo y publicación forman parte de mi registro de prácticas diarias, pero también del reto de dibujo de insectos en el que estoy participando. Quería lograr un ángulo más complicado que las vistas aéreas de insectos que acostumbro hacer.

Gracias, creo que si me ha ayudado un poco la practica diaria y si he mejorado, pero no lo suficiente y sobre todo me da mucho miedo tratar realismo jajaja, lo evito mucho. Ya ahorita hace un año entero dibujando a diario al menos 15 minutos. Un gran saludo y un hermoso día también!
Todo lleva su tiempo pero dibujar diariamente es un grandioso logro. Mientras más se practique, mejora la técnica. No tengas miedo al realismo, es normal que tengas miedo, a lo nuevo, todos le tememos pero al comenzar nos vamos adaptando y comienzan los asombros y resultados. Sin rendirse y disciplina, los sueños pueden convertirse en realidad 💪🎨
Everything takes its time, but drawing daily is a great achievement. The more you practice, the better the technique becomes. Do not fear realism—it is normal to be afraid of something new; we all fear it, but once we begin, we adapt, and surprises and results start to appear. With perseverance and discipline, dreams can become reality 💪🎨
