It is a pleasure to be here on a new day sharing a new sketch I did for the Daily Drawing Challenge.
Last night, I was searching on Pinterest a pretty cool picture of a fruit that could help me to accomplish today's challenge. I found this beautiful still life photography of pomegranate and even when I considered too much challenging for me, this morning I decided to do it.
I started by making the drawing with a graphite pencil (2H)
After I did that, I added some shades to the sketch with various brands of colored pencils such as Prismacolor and Faber Castle.
And to finish my artwork I added color to the background with two shades of oil pastels (black & white).
I'm very happy with the result and I hope you like it. I'd like to read your thoughts in the comments section.
