Hello everyone, for tonight's drawing I went into practice mode. I cannot take much credit for this as I used a existing sketch as a reference. The one on the cover of a sketchbook that is. Obviously the one on the cover is way nicer, it is so nice that this is why I try to drew it.
I did the basic sketch using a black colored pencil and finished up qith highlights using a white colored one.

Hello @pegarissimo. I love the image. You did a lovely job recreating the image. The eyes and facial expression looks sad. You captured that imagery well. The white colored pencil added a lovely bright element for the scarf.
It would have been nice to see your reference image so your reader can tell how well you captured the essence of the original drawing.

Thanks for the comment, this is very nice of you. I did think initially to post the reference picture of the sketch I used. I dont use references often and I am a bit a shame as it does not look like the reference as much (...it is like picture perfect)...and there is a little food stain on it 😅. But practicing is a growing experience, so here it is
