Getting Back Into Portraits - Zurück zu den Porträts
I drew a portrait of a young girl, my first sketch in a long time. It wasn’t easy — I often hold myself back from drawing because I struggle with things like proportions or not reaching the level of creativity I expect from myself. That makes it hard to just sit down and create.
Ich habe das Porträt eines jungen Mädchens gezeichnet, mein erster Sketch seit langer Zeit. Es war nicht leicht – oft halte ich mich selbst vom Zeichnen ab, weil ich mit Dingen wie Proportionen kämpfe oder das kreative Niveau, das ich von mir erwarte, nicht erreiche. Das macht es schwer, mich einfach hinzusetzen und zu schaffen.
This sketch isn’t anything special, but it’s my way of starting again. More than the result, it’s about practicing and finding a flow of creativity I want to rediscover.
Dieser Sketch ist nichts Besonderes, aber er ist mein Weg, wieder anzufangen. Mehr als das Ergebnis geht es darum, zu üben und einen kreativen Fluss zu finden, den ich wiederentdecken möchte.
