Before I start a new painting, I like to play around with quick sketches to figure out the mood and direction. These are a couple rough ones I made to shape the vision for my next piece.
They help me explore composition, energy, and what I want the final work to feel like—without overthinking it.

For any design or drawing, sketches are necessary. Could even be the most important, since it's through them the main artwork comes forth. They are like the behind the scenes moments.
