¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive! Hoy les comparto otro dibujo de mi proyecto de ilustración llamado URBANITO y que tenía pendiente subir por esta vía. Aquí buscaba hacer un homenaje al cantante urbano Daddy Yankee, vistiendo a Urbanito con la misma ropa y pose que usó en la portada de su álbum Barrio Fino, uno de los discos más importantes dentro del movimiento urbano latino y que sin duda lo definió en esta parte del mundo. A continuación les muestro el proceso que seguí para dibujarlo.

Hello, Hive Community! Today I'm sharing with you another drawing from my illustration project called URBANITO that I had pending to upload in this way. Here I wanted to make a tribute to the urban singer Daddy Yankee, dressing Urbanito with the same clothes and pose he used in the cover of his album Barrio Fino, one of the most important albums in the urban latin movement and that undoubtedly defined him in this part of the world. Below I show you the process I followed to draw him.
El primer paso fue hacer un boceto de la figura con un lápiz 4H, definiendo la forma del personaje y su escenario.

The first step was to make a sketch of the figure with a 4H pencil, defining the shape of the character and its setting.
Lo siguiente fue entintarlo, usando primero un marcador Kores de punta ultrafina para definir al personaje, para después usar un marcador Pointer de punta fina para oscurecer el fondo.

The next step was to ink it, first using an ultra-fine tip Kores marker to define the character, then using a fine tip Pointer marker to darken the background.
Por último, pasé esa foto por el umbral de Photoshop CS6, separando el dibujo en blanco y negro.

Finally, I ran that photo through the Photoshop CS6 threshold, separating the black and white drawing.
