Hello dear friends of Hive and Sketchbook!!
I hope everyone is doing well. Today I share with you one of the most recent works I've been working on, this time it's an outdoor scenery. A house where little forest elves live.

Espero todos se encuentren muy bien. En el día de doy les comparto uno de mis trabajos más recientes en los que he estado trabajando, esta vez se trata de un escenario en el exterior. Una casa en el cual habitan pequeños elfos del bosque.
To start with the process, I will be making the sketch. I will be using the Lapiz 6B and I will be outlining it twice until I get the desired finish.
Para empezar con el proceso, estaré realizando el boceto. Estaré utilizando el Lápiz 6B y lo estaré delineando dos veces hasta obtener el acabado deseado.
After all the outlining has been completed, we will start applying the colors. First I will apply the planes, then the shadows and details. I will be leaving the color palette used.
Después de tener todo el delineado terminado, empezaremos aplicando los colores. Primero aplicaré los planos, luego las sombras y detalles. Estaré dejando la paleta de colores utilizada.
When finished, with the Willow Charcoal Brush I will begin to apply the textured details. I will be applying it very softly until I get the desired result.
Al terminar, con el Pincel Carbón de Sauce comenzaré a aplicar los detalles de textura. Lo aplicaré muy suavemente hasta conseguir el resultado deseado.
I will also start with the details of the doors, windows, rocks and plants. For these I will also be using the brush mentioned above.
También empezaré con los detalles de las puertas, ventanas, rocas y plantas. Para estos también estaré utilizando el pincel mencionado anteriormente.
When I finish with the details of the textures, I will start with the illuminations of the windows and their exterior. For this I will be filling each window with a canary yellow tone, then I will be changing the layer mode to one of ****Overlay*** and I will be reflecting its illumination on the rest of the exterior of the house with the Willow Charcoal Brush.
Al terminar con los detalles de las texturas, empezaré con las iluminaciones de las ventanas y su exterior. Para ello estaré rellenando cada ventana de un tono amarillo canario, a continuación le estaré cambiando el modo de capa a uno de ****Superposicion*** y estaré reflejando su iluminación en el resto del exterior de la casa con el Pincel Carbón de Sauce
Finally, I will be adding some details, such as the grass on the ground and the smoke coming out of the window. I will also be darkening the background forest, I will be applying a color layer on top of it. Then I will change it to Multiply layer mode and that's it!
Ya para finalizar le estaré agregando algunos detalles, como el pasto en la tierra y el humo saliendo por la ventana. También estaré oscureciendo el bosque de fondo, le estaré aplicando una capa de color por encima de ella. A continuación la cambiaré a modo de capa Multiplicar y listo!
When writing the step by step that I implemented to make this publication, the process might seem a little easy and that's what I thought while I was writing, but to tell the truth for me it was quite challenging. As I have been telling in past publications, drawing exteriors for me is quite new and challenging, even the first attempts didn't seem so bad to me. But as time goes by and your practices become more constant you begin to experience new things, in my case as what I am doing most are exteriors of houses, the textures and materials that can be presented are quite challenging to reflect in a drawing, to give them to understand and that others can easily perceive what you want to convey is complicated, it requires many references to obtain a flattering result. But practice makes perfect and with time you will get the job done more easily, since you have already imbibed enough knowledge and practice. I am still on that path and hope to improve a lot. Al escribir el paso a paso que implementé para realizar esta publicación, podría parecer un poco fácil el proceso y eso fue lo que pensaba mientras escribía, pero a decir verdad para mí fue bastante desafiante. Como ya llevo contando en publicaciones pasadas, el dibujar exteriores para mi es bastante nuevo y retador, incluso los primeros intentos no me parecieron tan malos. Pero a medida de que va pasando el tiempo y que tus prácticas se vuelven más contantes comienzas a experimentar cosas nuevas, en mi caso como lo que más estoy realizando son exteriores de viviendas, las texturas y materiales que se puedan presentar son bastante desafiante de reflejar en un dibujo, darlas a entender y que los demás puedan percibir fácilmente lo que quieres transmitir es complicado, se requiere de muchas referencias para obtener un resultado favorecedor. Pero la práctica hace al maestro y con el tiempo ya harás el trabajo más fácilmente, ya que te has impregnado de bastante conocimiento y práctica. Aún estoy en ese camino y espero mejorar mucho. Realmente es complicado dibujar objetos o elementos que se encuentran en exteriores cuando requieren de hacer esos detalles.
