A new girl portrait (oil on paper)

An happy Tuesday to you all!
Another sunny day here, even if it rained during the night. In the village close to my city the people are still cleaning the houses and the streets from the mud. People who lives there are not in a simple situation, but they are strong and to see many young boys and girls from different part of my country wo are helping them is really touching .

What happened reminds us an horrible flood in Florence in the 1966 (you can read more about that event here). It was the same day of this recent one (the November 4!) and it caused a lot of damages in that beautiful city. The uncle of my hubby was a young boy and he helped to save things from the mud with many many "angeli del fango" (in italian means "mud angels"). Since that year we din't experienced any other flood until now.
Well, time to come back to think something positive and so I want to share with you a new artwork I just finished:

As you can see, the subject is a simple girl with a delicate lace around her neck.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
