Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all!
It's raining hard since tonight and the sound of the rain make me think about an autumnal day, even if the Easter is just around the corner. My furry friend Richy doesn't like this kind of weather and so, after I gave him the food, he decided to come back on his comfortable blanket to sleep again. 😸
Like Richy, I don't love so much this kind of weather (I'd like to enjoy a pause from my work in my backyard under the Sun 😊 ), but I can't come back to sleep and so I placed my small working table close to the window to use my brushes and colors under the pale natural light.
This time I thought to paint some studies for new subjects for my paintings and this morning I worked on the following one:
As you can see, I studied a couple of flowers in yellow and blue. Just a couple of simple, rounded flowers that help me to think about a part of a new painting of mine.
I used my oil colors and a touch of white ink on a page of my small sketchbook and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting these flowers so you can see the process too:
