Here is another ballpoint pen doodle for this #trippythursday
One single cell of plankton has found a watery planet to evolve on.
It immediately started budding and making copies of itself.
Fortunately the watery planet has almost no land mass and the plankton are free to reproduce infinitely.
They also have plenty of minerals and sunlight.
Legend has it a tiny dried up plankton was encased in a meteorite that managed to land in the water before completely burning up in the thin atmosphere.
Now it is the plankton's job to grow and change raw materials into gasses that will create an atmosphere for the planet.
So far they have no predators or things that feed off of them so they will overtake the entire planet in about 1000 years.
Layers and layers of sediment will be formed from their dead bodies and land mass will eventually form.
Once tide pools develop there will be a divergence of plankton species, those in the tidepool and those in the deeper ocean.
Eventually they will start feeding on each other and escalating their evolution into greater lifeforms to better fight each other. Millions of years in the future there will be a huge final battle and both sides will send out meteorites filled with basic lifeforms to colonize other planets as they destroy themselves.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
Hey I know its late, but I had to chime in... I really like this work and the amusing evolution milestone musings by this metaphysical-looking organism.
Thanks for looking :-)
Thanks again @scrooger :-)
How fun that you're up and running with your patterns! Today I'm painting like crazy, I have an incredible flow. This pattern reminds me of the Star Trek emblem from the antiverse.
The flow state is the best, the trick is how to get into a flow state. Maybe do like Dali and sleep deprive yourself to get strange visions? I usually just start with basic design and a good background music.
Beware the whale 😉
Now I have an idea for the next doodle.
