Hello guys, today I want to share with you my newly explored technique, I call it pointillism, I basically make use of dots or should I say points to create the perfect illusion and bring out a structure.
Using this technique for sketch is time consuming and needs patience as creating this dots is very stressful, I make use of lighter graphite pencils ranging from 4h to B for the lighter part of the sketch while from 2b to 8b for the darker parts of the drawing.
For the lighter parts I applied less pressure on the paper thereby creating thin faded dots while for the darker part I used a more bigger point pencil(8b) and applied more pressure so as to differentiate between the light and darkness, please stay with me as I explore this new technique further. Thanks
This is amazing @tangerine5
Just imagining the work needed to be done to achieve this, pointillism is sure a good technique and it'll need a lot of mastery to achieve that..
Yeah boss and I pray to remain strengthen always
Your portrait of Keanu Reeves is very well done, using pointillism with pencils, a technique that became popular in France in the late 19th century. Best regards, @tangerine5.
Thanks so much for your feedback am glad you like it
