The Encounter (Series 3) - (Acrylic and Marker on Canvas).

in Sketchbook4 months ago

Good Day Guys,

Happy New Month to you all. 🤗🎉

I am still sharing works from my recent series "The Encounter", I've said so much about the thoughts behind the works and the series in my previous sharing, I am hoping to talk more about my choice of mediums now, unlike some of my past drawings on canvas, I decided to use Acrylic paints in some parts of these drawings and that was mostly on the shorts the Men were putting on, I love the outcome of the pieces but I'm not sure I would love to express using colours like that again, it might just be me making all about the drawings with the markers alone.

THE LEADS!

Kindly share your thoughts as comments below, I'll be glad to read and reply them all. Thanks.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

Striking mixed media drawing, highly expressive in its figure and informal elements. Greetings, @tezzmax.

Thank you for the warm comment.

Initially, I thought he was about screaming 😱 but it seems he's shielding his face from the light. It's really fine.

Shielding yes!

Fantastic work!
A play between styles that reminds me of expressionism and urban art.
Congratulations!

Thank you very much for your encouraging words, you sound more like an art enthusiast are you one?

You deserve them for your talent.

Well, in my case, I'm a writer and photographer!

Oh, that's so nice, do you exhibition your photography works?
Thank you once again.
