Greetings dear community, today I bring you a semi-realistic portrait of Emma Watson, famous actress and model, born in France, characterized by her great talent and charisma, she is known mainly for having played the character of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film saga.

Taking the photo below as a reference, I made a somewhat animated adaptation of Emma, following the drawing style that I have been developing, showing step by step the stages of its elaboration, through some gifs to make the publication more thematic.

Saludos querida comunidad, el día de hoy les traigo un retrato semirealista de Emma Watson, famosa actriz y modelo, nacida en Francia, caracterizada por su gran talento y carisma, es conocida principalmente por haber interpretado el personaje de Hermione Granger en la saga de películas de Harry Potter.

Tomando como referencia la foto que se presenta a continuación realice una adaptación un tanto animada de Emma, siguiendo el estilo de dibujo que he venido desarrollando, mostrando paso a paso las etapas de su elaboración, a través de algunos gifs para hacer más temática la publicación.

Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️

Semirealistic portrait of Emma Watson, I wanted to make this drawing with a lively touch, exaggerating a little the proportions of the face, in this case increasing a little the size of the eyes, to make them more expressive and striking, giving a crystalline effect to them. I used soft color tones, which I adapted the saturation along the painting process. The drawing consists of three main sections, which were: body, hair and background, each of them consists of different layers, between textures and shades to reach the desired result, plus extra layers of different brightness.

Retrato semirealista de Emma Watson, este dibujo quise realizarlo con un toque animado, exagerando un poco las proporciones del rostro, en este caso aumentando un poco el tamaño de los ojos, para hacerlos más expresivos y llamativos, dándole un efecto cristalino a los mismos. Use tonos de colores suaves, los cuales fui adaptando la saturación a lo largo del proceso de pintado. El dibujo consta de tres secciones principales, las cuales fueron: cuerpo, cabello y fondo, cada una de ellas consta de diferentes capas, entre texturas y matices hasta llegar al resultado deseado, además de capas extras de diferentes brillos.

With quick and simple strokes we make Emma's sketch, we place, using low saturated colors, we draw all the contour of the face, body and hair using different layers.

Con trazos rápidos y sencillos realizamos el boceto de Emma, colocamos, usando colores poco saturados, vamos dibujando todo el contorno del rostro, cuerpo y cabello usando capas diferentes.

Later, taking the original photo as a reference, I start to detail some features of the face, such as the nose, mouth and eyes, and I also add some pink tones.

Posteriormente tomando como referencia la foto original, empiezo a detallar algunos rasgos del rostro, como son la nariz, boca y ojos, además agrego algunas tonalidades rosas.

In this step we proceed to give some shadows to the drawing, we use different layers in blend mode multiply and darken, applying them little by little until we get the desired shade. In addition, we begin to give volume to the hair.

En este paso procedemos a dar un poco de sombras al dibujo, usamos diferentes capas en modo mezcla multiplicar y oscurecer, aplicándolas poco a poco hasta obtener la tonalidad deseada. Además, empezamos a darle volumen al cabello.

To finish, we applied the glows to the portrait, reinforced the shadows even more, and completely detailed the hair, we also designed some luminous effects in the earrings, to give a magical touch to the work. And we finished with a simple background of flowers, blurred to give the sensation of depth.

Para finalizar, aplicamos los brillos al retrato, reforzamos aún más las sombras, y detallamos completamente el cabello, diseñamos también algunos efectos luminosos en los aretes, para darle un toque mágico a la obra. Y terminamos con un fondo sencillo de flores, difuminados para dar la sensación de profundidad.
