Hello everybody! Today I wanted to show you a spectacular work by the realist painter Gioacchino Passini (Italian, 1956 -) I was so impressed by his style that I decided to recreate one of his oil still lifes with crayons or coloured pencils.

Drawing in coloured pencil is a bit complicated because you have to colour from the lightest to the darkest, as the coloured crayon covers the colour that was placed first. In contrast to oil painting you can make several layers of colour and you can colour from the darkest to the lightest.
I started the work by making a graphite pencil sketch, where I have taken into consideration the perspective, the lighting and the size of each figure that composes Passini's still life.
After the sketch, I began to colour the background, shading in blue, purple and black, leaving the central figures to be painted later.
Then I started to light and shade the bottom background with the black and navy blue colour, notice how the central figures are already highlighted.
The next step was to shape the paper bag, resembling a crumpled bag containing the fruits inside. To achieve this I used white, beige, orange, yellow and brown crayons in some occasions.
Then, with white, beige, yellow, orange, red, purple and brown crayon colour the fruits inside the bag, always keeping in mind the light and shade. Continue with the trunks of the apples and grapes with white, orange, brown and black crayons.
Then I marked the grape lights with white crayon and outlined them with yellow, orange and brown.
Finally I coloured the fruits that can be seen in front and outside the bag, the plum and the front apple, taking into account the lights and shadows of the original work, fine tuning the last details to finish the work.

¡Hola a todos! El día de hoy he querido mostrarles una obra espectacular del pintor realista Gioacchino Passini (Italiano, 1956 -) Me ha impactado tanto su estilo que decidí hacer una recreación de uno de sus bodegones al óleo con crayones o lápices de colores.
Si quieres ver más de la obra de Gioacchino Passini, en la Galleria Gagliardi puedes encontrar varios de sus bodegones.
El dibujo a lápiz de color es un poco complicado porque hay que colorear desde lo más claro a lo más oscuro, pues el creyón de color tapa el color que se colocó primero. A diferencia del óleo que se pueden hacer varias capas de color y se colocan desde lo oscuro a lo más claro.
Comencé el trabajo realizando un boceto a lápiz de grafito, donde he tenido en consideración la perspectiva, la iluminación y el tamaño de cada figura que compone el bodegón de Passini.
Después del boceto, fui dando color al fondo, sombreando en azul, morado y negro, dejando las figuras centrales para fondearlas más tarde.
Luego comencé a darle luz y sombra al fondo inferior con el color negro y azul marino, noten cómo ya se ven resaltadas las figuras centrales.
El paso siguiente fue darle forma a la bolsa de papel, semejando a una bolsa arrugada que contiene las frutas adentro. Para lograrlo utilicé crayones de color blanco, beige, anaranjado, amarillo y marrón en algunas ocasiones.
Luego, con creyón blanco, beige, amarillo, anaranjado, rojo, morado y marrón coloree las frutas que están adentro de la bolsa, siempre teniendo en cuenta la luz y sombra. Seguí con los troncos de las manzanas y de las uvas con crayones blanco, anaranjado, marrón y negro.
Después marqué con creyón blanco las luces de las uvas y las fondeé con amarillo, anaranjado y marrón.
Finalmente coloreé las frutas que se observan adelante y afuera de la bolsa, la ciruela y la manzana delantera teniendo en cuenta las luces y sombras de la obra original, afinando los últimos detalles para dar por terminada la obra.
