Hello everyone! Today I am going to share some pictures of a few random things I painted using water colour. I just wanted to test out a paper that I got to see if it is really suitable for water colour as claimed by the paper cover.
I didn't plan what to paint at all. I just wanted to paint a few random shapes or item that crossed my mind at the moment. However, I did want to practise my blending skills so I tried to create a gradient effect on my little drawings. I painted a yellow square, a red circle and a green leaf.
I like the leaf the best because I just love how vibrant the colour turned out!
I was trying to paint a fall leaf here.
I painted it half yellowish brown and the other half in a warm green.
This is a purple triangle that I tried to paint in 3 dimensional way. I added some blue and pink too.
Here's a blue flower with many petals in purple and a few shades of blue.
I painted a cone ice-cream as well. By the way, these are the items I painted so far at the moment and I thought I would share a picture of my work space. That is the watercolour palette that I used and on the right is the water brush that I used.
This is a fruit cart. I always wanted farming stickers so I painted one :D
This is just a random teal gradient box with some long plants.
This is a very badly drawn picture of coffee. The colours didn't appear vibrant enough and it was also difficult to paint the word as my waterbrush was not fine enough.
This is a sunflower that I painted using multiple warm shades of yellow, orange and brown. I enjoyed painting particularly this one because I love sunflowers as they always give a positive vibe and I send them in my morning greetings messages to family and friends.
This is a watermelon popsicle that I painted for fun, and also of course I love to eat popsicles!
I completely forgot to take a picture of this cocktail drink. I love the colours so much and glad I painted this, although it doesn't look so good :D
I added some lines to the ice-cream cones.
These are all of the items that I painted. They are small and I guess I can use them as stickers. Perhaps I can also add words to the shapes and use them for short quote stickers. They may not look perfect but I had a lot of fun painting them all without any pencil outline. It felt freeing.
Thank you for dropping by and I hope that you have a great day ahead. Take care and stay safe xx
