Why don't you promote your events on https://hivelist.org? You can do so by simply posting a promotional post of your event with the tag #event in any frontend (peakd.com, ecency.com, hive.blog or even hivelist.org). When you do that you also get to earn $LIST tokens in addition to $Hive.
If you are posting promotional events regularly (or using any of the Hivelist tags regularly), then you may even consider joining the 50K List Power Club run by @xyz.store.
