It is hard to determine what is original, researched, etc when posting about news as obviously most content is just rewritten from what you have just heard or read somewhere. Thus we don't curate such content, not that I really know why I'm bothered replying to a brand new account asking for delegations and upvotes "that only take 1 minute" when he clearly doesn't understand what goes on in the curation space.
If we ever supported such a community it would most likely be a "share" community where you share links or quotes with a few words and forfeit most if not all post rewards so that curators can rather focus on the engagement in the comment section to reward rather than the content.
Time will show up who's a real original content creator or just looking for a chance to hunt $$$ here. But without giving a space to those community how could we know that's real or fake?
Yeah I guess we'll wait for time to show up.
