Very nice to see this happening, and thanks for sharing the experience from such a "real" perspective. "Way back when" (1980's) I was deal broke and living in my car, I depended substantially on dumpster diving at my local Safeway... back before they fenced in the dumpsters... and it was amazing how much perfectly good food was available every day, particularly if you were there at 4-5am when the stockers were restocking the shelves and cycling displays.

Yes it is mind blowing the scale of food waste in America, but also amazing to see so many people out there are utilizing dumpsters as a source of free food.
