Hey! how's it going friend?
Ayer me puse a realizar unos cuantos estudios de luz para poder entender mejor como actúa la luz en el rostro y mucho mas como adaptaría esos conceptos a mi estilo de dibujo.
Yesterday I set about doing a few light studies so that I could better understand how light on the face acts and much more how I would adapt those concepts to my drawing style.
Así que tomé el cuaderno para experimentos de dibujo que uso actualmente, el cual es una libreta reciclada que encontré por allí, y me puse a hacer unos cuantos estudios de luz basandome en un video que vi de uno de mis ilustradores favoritos.
So I took the notebook for drawing experiments that I currently use, which is a recycled notebook I found over there, and started doing a few light studies based on a video I saw of one of my favorite illustrators.

Tomando como referencia las imágenes mostradas en el video hice estos 3 personajes y fui practicando como actuaría la luz en ellos, viniendolos desde los 3 angulos clásicos, frontal, 3/4 y perfil.
Taking as reference the images shown in the video I made these 3 characters and practiced how the light would act on them, from the 3 classic angles, front, 3/4 and profile.

Here I also leave you part of the process of drawing some of these quick sketches.
Prácticas como estas de 10 a 20 minutos son super interesantes para entender y aplicar distintos conceptos a tu técnica de dibujo, así que te invito a realizar prácticas diarias siempre y cuando puedas hacerlo.
Practices like these 10 to 20 minutes are super interesting to understand and apply different concepts to your drawing technique, so I invite you to do daily practices as long as you can.
