Hi there, my amazing friends, today I want to share with you my visit to the National Park of Roski Slap. I live an only 20-minute drive from the gorgeous piece of God creation and it is a perfect place to spend my evening when I need some peace and quiet. Well, even a little exercise. You will know what I mean later on in the post. lolCome and explore this beautiful place with me through my photos and moderately good writing. lol
The park itself is very well maintained and in recent years they have constructed these beautiful wooden stairs so the park can be accessed from two sides now. I actually prefer this side because the view from this site is absolutely amazing. And, I love these stairs they build. Beautiful blend with nature without destroying any of it. Like all things should be in this world. Living in harmony with nature.
I really like these informational posts they have set up with all kinds of different information about what can be found in the park. These are just two examples of them but there are many more. They have excavated some old fossils from this park. Plus many other interesting things. Not sure if the photo close enough so you can read the information but I tried my best. There is also I cave you can enter, but due to COVID situation it was closed so we could not enter.
As you can see from the above pictures they also build these wooden resting places where you can come and have a picnic with your family and enjoy the beautiful view in front of you. The view from here is absolutely amazing. I was worried I will run out of memory on my phone from all the pictures I was taking.lol
The Walk Back And A Gift
The further you go down these beautifully and well made wooden stairs the closer you get to the gorgeous cascades of the river Krka. But, it is not only the view I enjoyed. The sounds of the river are so peaceful and calming. I absolutely love it. I hope you guys visit this place one day and experience it for yourself.
The more you walk around this gorgeous place the more you fall in love with it. You fall in love with its beauty and the sounds of the River Krka. It is a true melody for ears and eye candy for any nature lover out there. Well, if you are still here with me I got some more pictures for you. And, then probably little more. Stay with me I got a gift in the end. hehe
There is really some nice well-maintained path that leads all around the wark with seating and resting areas all around it. It is truly a great place to take your family to and spend a beautiful day surrounded by nature. This bridge is actually connected to a little hydro plant.
I hope you are enjoying my tour so far and that my writing and the pictures have gotten to this point still. I always worry the posts will be too long and people will lose interest in reading it. But, I will take a little gamble with this one and I hope you guys are gonna stay with me to the end?
As you can see soon the sun started to set it and it was time for me to slowly make my way back to my car. Now, remember when I told you this place is good for some exercise as well? Well, I was not kidding at all. lol The 600 and something wooden beautifully crafted stairs were waiting for me. lol But, I was more than happy to do a little exercise. Especially to take some photos of the gift I promised you. A beautiful sunset overlooking the gorgeous Roski Slap National Park.
Ok, my amazing friend, we have come to the end I truly hope you enjoyed my tour of Roski Slap. This is actually not all of it some of the most beautiful parts of it you can see when I enter from the other side. Which I will cover in one of my future posts.

Amazing beautiful place.
From the first photo I tried to figure out how that water structure came to be, the 'ripples' or waves. Later I see it is a LONG series of small falls. It's just absolutely gorgeous!
I'm pretty sure Sam would like it there. Lots of things to smell and stick his nose in.
