Hive Fest 2020
So, I purchased a Oculus Quest 2. Just for the Hive Fest! Well, I was thinking about purchasing a VR headset for a while. This recently announcement of Hive Fest 2020, put me over the edge. I am now registered. The event is free by-the-way. And you do not really need a VR Headset. There is a 2D app by AltSpaceVR that can do the job without the headset. As recommended, I downloaded the application and tried to set up an account. The process should be simple, but I had encountered some kind of bug at the AltSpaceVR sign-in page and it can't take my username 'azircon' (it is less than 8 characters), which I understand. But it didn't take a whole lot of different number of letter and number combinations either. Finally, frustrated, I took a random name suggested by @lemony-cricket and managed to create an account :) Thanks to @m31, I also managed to create a profile and fix my appearence, somewhat! Thanks, M!!
So that's the way I look! Like it or not, I am not changing it!
That's my balcony and the view outside. I am sure, soon you will be tired to seeing this same view, as this is going to be your 'default' apartment :). I was trying to do this quickly because tomorrow between 2pm - 3pm CST there is a mock up pre-event to test things out at altspace. I am planning to attend.
