Natural disasters occur again in parts of the state of Indonesia, Early April 2021 natural disasters occurred in East Nusa Tenggara. The natural disaster, namely Banjir Bandang, occurred suddenly in some districts of NTT, Indonesia.
I, who joined the volunteer Atjeh Connection, was moved to help our brothers in NTT who were suffering from a flash flood that killed many people and property in NTT.
Precisely on Saturday, April 10, 2021. I along with a group of volunteers decided to go to that location. We departed via Soekarno Hatta airport using a Citylink aircraft fleet. About 5 hours by air, we arrived in NTT.
After we rested for a while, I along with a group of volunteers immediately moved to the area where the flash flood disaster occurred. There we immediately coordinated with the local government, in terms of distributing aid to victims of the Banjir Bandang disaster.
Besides we provided assistance in the form of foodstuffs, I was with a group of volunteers who were assigned to distribute aid to disaster victims. We also entertained a number of children in the refugee camp. Here are some photos of my documentation on a humanitarian journey in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
Hopefully, the disaster victims will soon be able to rise up and rebuild their lives as before. Especially for children who are still in school.
