Once I made a trip to Lake Baikal.
In the first part of the story, we traveled by train to Irkutsk. Then we had to overcome the waterway along the surface of Lake Baikal itself. The surface was uneven
Однажды я совершил путешествие на озеро Байкал.
В первой части повествования мы ехали поездом до Иркутска. Дальше нам предстояло преодолеть водный путь по глади самого Байкала. Вот, правда, гладью его назвать было трудно.
The marina was in a small bay on the Angara River. It was still earlier morning. The natives waited patiently for the boat.
Пристань находилась в небольшой бухточке на реке Ангара. Было ещё ранее утро. Аборигены терпеливо ждали катера.
The cove was small. In addition to the common pier, there were private ones with parked yachts and boats.
Бухточка была небольшой. Помимо общего причала были и частные с припаркованными яхтами и катерами.
At first we sailed along the river against the current. And then went to the open sea.
Вначале мы плыли по реке против течения. А затем вышли в открытое море.
The shores were densely overgrown with firs. Greenery covered the slopes of the mountains, which can be called large hills or hills. They went straight down to the water. From far away it seemed that the spruce plunged directly into the cold waters of the lake.
Берега были густо заросшими елями. Зелень покрывала склоны гор, которые можно назвать и большими холмам или сопками. Они спускались прямо к воде. Издалека казалось, что ели погружаются прямо в холодные воды озера.
We obviously had no luck with the weather. Low sulfur clouds also tried to merge with water. In any case, they succeeded in merging with the tops of the trees. It was drizzling with light rain driven by a gentle wind.
С погодой нам явно не повезло. Низкие серы тучи тоже старались слиться с водой. Во всяком случае слиться с вершинами деревьев им удалось. Моросил мелкий дождь гонимый неласковым ветром.
One could only dream of hot weather. Another time, I would definitely get out on the upper deck and shoot landscapes around. But then even the very thought of leaving the salon did not occur to me.
О жаркой погоде можно было только мечтать. В другой раз я бы обязательно выбрался на верхнюю палубу и снимал пейзажи вокруг. Но тут даже сама мысль покинуть салон не приходила в голову.
The hydrofoil boat was shaking in the wake. Many frames turned out blurry. I shot on an old Canon camcorder in photo mode. Therefore, I apologize for the low quality of the images. For this reason, I translate some photos into black and white images. So color noise interferes less.
Катер на подводных крыльях трясло на волне. Много кадров получилось смазанными. Я снимал на старенькую видеокамеру Кэнон в режиме фото. Поэтому прошу меня извинить за низкое качество снимков. По этой причине я переводу некоторые фото в чёрно-белые изображения. Так меньше мешает цветовой шум.
On the way to Bol'shiye Koty (Big Koty), we made one stop in Listvyanka. Just someone there landed on the pier. This village is aimed at tourists. Human greed has seriously enough spoiled the coast in this place. But let's not talk about sad things.
По пути в Большие Коты мы сделали одну остановку в Листвянке. Просто кого- то там высадили на причал. Этот посёлок нацелен на туристов. Человеческая жадность достаточно серьёзно испортила побережье в этом месте. Но не будем о грустном.
We continued our voyage. The next stop was our ultimate goal.
- Мы продолжили наше плавание. Следующая остановка была нашей конечной целью.*
Finally, our journey was over and we saw our shore, on which we intended to live for about a week.
Наконец наш путь был закончен и мы увидели свой берег, на котором намеривались прожить примерно неделю.

Вот не было камеры с собой нормальной, приходиться вытягивать обработкой из кадров всё, что можно. Некоторые только в чб хоть на что-то похожи. С другой стороны плёнку напоминает старую)).
А на Байкал... случайно как-то получилось. Спонтанно. Просто купили билеты и махнули... почти голые)))
Вот хочется ещё там побывать. И ведь теперь родственник там живёт)
