It's been a week or two now I guess since i've downloaded the app, I was basically looking for another alternative where I wasn't asked to keep Signing in on PEAKD on my mobile browser. I really love PEAKD the only one thing it's missing is the Mobile Version of it.
Will there ever be a mobile app for PEAKD ? Anyone...
This app has a lovely UI (User Interface) and the opening animation of the Ecency logo is quite good.

Well I do like this drop down notification tab with a scroll feature but
Ecency wins this one for the full length side bar notification

I like both the wallets equally and I actually prefer seeing the HBD & HIVE market stats in my wallet rather than seeing it in the home page.
It would have been great to have the Fiat Currency option in PEAKD but currently only Ecency provides this option.

When it comes to the Drafts i'll pick PEAKD over Ecency any day because it's just better looking.

In PEAKD the Voting/Downvoting Mana is only shown when you hover your mouse over the Blue & Red Meter. In mobile browsers the Voting/Downvoting Mana percentage is clearly shown which I prefer

I prefer PEAKD when it comes to creating a post because it has the Include In My Blog option whereas Ecency does not provide this option.
Also in Ecency by default the first tag will be that of the community you decide to use which I don't really prefer.
Another thing is I prefer the Dark theme of PEAKD than Ecency IDK the Ecency Dark them is just Blehh to me. I prefer the Daylight theme but not every time. Like while curating yeah I prefer it but when creating a new post the daylight theme just annoys me.
PEAKD VS Ecency
Templates just makes the life of a content creator easier and PEAKD has this option currently.
I'd prefer seeing this option in Ecency also in the nearby future.
Ecency also has something know as Ecency Points where every action you do on the App/Site like Upvoting, Comments, Reblog etc gets you points which you can later use to Promote or Boost your posts in app. I really didn't find this useful to be honest.
When i'm curating in a particular community I really don't like seeing sponsored post which are 90% of the time not even related to the community i'm curating in.
That's pretty much my Two Cents about the platforms. What about you guys ? What other major difference did you notice, Do let me know in the comments

Nice comparison, I actually used Ecency as my Hive onboarding process. But I create in Peaked. I too like some aspects of the UI in Ecency. Its just that I found it a duplication of platforms and was just trying to understand the reason for it which is when I stumbled upon your post.

I'm using Ecency because that's how I found Hive. I've only been doing this a week. I've been thinking about using Peakd but I'm still struggling to get around Ecency! Can you have Peakd and Ecency and move between apps, or do you need to stick to one?
Yes You Can Use Multiple Hive Based Dapps It Wont Be An Issue. It's Platform Independent ✨
I thought your gonna compare the two of them in mobiles though, i wish peakd has their own apps too, but they made an alternative in mobile where you can just add to homescreen which makes it looks like there's an app for it.
It's the similar comparison fir the mobile app also. That home screen feature almost all apps have them 😂 Sill it asks to login repeatedly.
i thought the repeated logins are normal hahaha but now that i think about, it makes sense, let's hope they make one soon
I get it it's a security feature but you know sometimes it just annoys you to login in repeatedly 😂
