Good day to all Hiveans, I researched to get that there is a place where I can be productive, learn, unlearn, speak my mind freely, and above all get rewarded for it. I have joined for quite a while now but I have been observing I believe it is time to key into this space. I love to keep few real friend but more virtual friends. This is the way that I am built as I am a very shy person.
My name is Omolara Komolafe, I am a UI/UX designer and a crypto enthusiast. This is the two things that I have been doing for over five (5), years now. I love good music with beautiful lyrics but among all my two most favourite artist of all times remain ..... I am a lover of good movies as well but above all, I will pick Tom Cruise movie even if it is 0/10 and Jason Statham even if it is same rating.
As a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Lagos popularly known as UNILAG for short. I have improved my skills and learned a lot. One of the benefits of my learning and growth is the UI/UX design. This is basically the front-end part of web development. This is what I know and enjoy doing. I am a freelancer in this role and it has giving me the opportunity to know and meet people both locally withing my country Nigeria and outside my country as well. When you are good at what you do you become better and striving to be the best has always been my aim. One thing that I use to encourage myself is that I do not know enough and always keen to want to know more. This has brought nothing but greater opportunities beyond my expectations.
After graduation, there is a compulsory one year to work for the Nation while one is paid stipend. This is what is popularly know as NYSC. NYSC is an acronym for National Youth Service Corpes. It is aimed at promoting Unity in the nation whereby one is posted outside his/her space to another region entirely to learn their culture and teach them yours. I was posted to Kaduna where I spent 21 days being trained by military personnel. It was one of the most disciplined days of my life.
As a crypto enthusiast I have learnt that life requires patience and only the knowledgeable and the one who has no FOMO will enjoy the fruit of the space. Crypto as being very volatile and your networth can become bankruptcy within a blink of the eyes. Your money can as well burn to dust if you take the wrong move. This has not only helped me in patience it has made me a good researcher and an enthusiast of the web 3. I love the design of web 3 and very soon will venture in to working on web 3 as a UI/UX designer.
Life is good and I have learn a lot in my 24 years on earth. I love to travel and to explore and would take the chance to do so when the time is right. I am an open book but not a blank space.
