That was in my teenage years. It was hard in some aspects since my English was shit and I didn't have any good internet connection at that time. But I had this never-ending energy to progress. :)
How did I cope? There was nothing to cope with. I was just curious about building things. Started with doing small, lame projects. The sense of accomplishment was very good.
That's huge determination. I respect you plus 1 more. Thanks for the response. Looking forward to becoming a great programmer as I proceed with my self teaching too. You just inspired me.
