If only fires in the sky would wipe
away the scourge, away the residue
of misperception mine in single swipe —
wash over land and cleanse the callous rage
that culminates as ignorance's age
which reigns upon the surface of the earth.
(A bitter noble — chaos with a crown
but insubstantial — tended, handed down
by teeming masses — what they do, they know not;
an aeon passes — still endures delusion.
What have they wrought in all-confused profusion?
She is enthroned, not truly, but in mind.
For in stupidity — one nothing finds.)
May beauty teach what life is truly worth;
may barriers turn brittle seafoam glass
and shatter at the touch of knowing glance
which brisk between immortals ever passes
and sets the changeable to so much dust
of colored pigments — forms were made to rust
and wear away illusions of themselves,
self-evident to she or he who delves
into creative fire of the skies
who blazes far above the vi'lent cries
that turn to silence over patient years
that decimate the weakness of false fears.
O fire, make me noble, make me true;
make me an emanation bright of you.

It is not easy for me to see everything you see. But I see is a fire much broader than the fire in the sky. I see a cleansing fire that cannot be quenched until it covers all. And what I see beyond that fire is that bird sitting softly on the wire.
She is the representative of peace and does not know that 7200 volts of electricity are flowing under her claws or maybe she does know it and that's why she likes it there.
