A man who wanted to travel from Port Harcourt to Imo State was wondering where the bus terminal was located.
He came out on the street and saw several people waiting for a bus to stop and take them to their destinations.
He approached a dark complexioned man standing close by and said to him, "Please Sir, where can I get a vehicle that will take me to Imo State?"
The man ignored him totally and looked away.
The stranger repeated his question, but got no response.
So he quickly went to two friends just standing farther off and asked them the same question.
One of the young men who seemed quite amiable replied him and gave him directions on how to get to Imo State. He also brought out a 50 Naira note to give to the man to help him pay for his bus fare. The man was surprised to say the least. One part of him didn't want to collect the money from the stranger.
Another part of him protested saying that if he refused to collect the money from the stranger, that would mean that he is filled with pride. So he quickly collected the money from the stranger and thanked him wholeheartedly, smiling.
He now went and boarded a bus which took him to his destination.
