RE: Community List And Why It Is Important To Post In The Right Community

in OCD2 years ago

It wasn't stressful but it took a lot of time as I had to read each and every community's rules and descriptions listed here. Not to mention the formatting. But that doesn't matter as some can only see what's not on the list 🙂
You're welcome and I hope it helps.

Sort:

People tend to see things differently: many people see things only from the perspective that is beneficial to them or what they do, and only a few can get the clearer picture of things objectively.

In this case, there are different categories of people:

  • Newbies/"middlelies" who find the list beneficial in their journey on Hive,
  • people who get to check out other communities that they didn't know about,
  • people who get to "query you" for not including certain communities,
  • people who have issues with certain communities and think this is the right channel to express themselves,
  • people who derive joy in attacking OCD project, and think its best to express their disatistisfaction in every OCD mod or curator's posts (whether related or unrelated),
  • people who just want to post on OCD by all means,
  • people who didn't get the message at all,
  • and a few who got the message.

People's unnecessary reactions and expressed anxiety shouldn't deter us from doing what is right and helpful for people. I believe this post sits right with those who intend to grow on Hive, and that is the purpose of the post.

So, YES!
It fulfils its purpose amidst people's unrelated criticisms.

Well, on my own part, I understand, to an extent, the placement of niches and the best communities to make your post (based on your niche), following the rules of each communities. However, learning and growth is continuous.
