This is the idol of Lord Shiva Shankara. A few days ago on Shivaratri I captured a picture of Lord Shiva Shankar. Shiva Ratri is celebrated at this time of the year. Shivaratri is a perfect moment for Hindus. This Shivaratri is very big and all the women and girls belonging to the Hindu religion celebrate Shiva Ratri.

They pour water on Shiva's head all night and worship him. As a result, this Shiva night is not only called Shivaratri but it is also called Mahashivaratri. In our Bengali culture, Shiva Ratri is celebrated not only in one place but in all Shiva temples.

Everyone is looking forward to this moment in the year. In the Bengali culture of Hinduism, everyone worships Shiva to get rid of various kinds of dangers. Worship. Worship. Milk, bell leaves, flowers etc. and other other ingredients are used in Shiva worship.

Lord Shiva is the creator of creation, this creation has risen from his hands. Lord Shiva Shankara frees all the devotees who worship him from all difficulties and dangers. Shiva Shankara instantly reduced the asuras that oppressed his devotees to ashes.

Lord Shiva Shankara is also called the god of destruction because when he gets angry, he starts destroying with his trinetra. The catastrophe began. Lord Shiva Shankara killed many oppressive demons with his trident.

As a result, he is also called Shiva Shankar with a trident. Besides, he is known by many names like Bholenath, Jatadhari, Nilakantha etc. The name Nilakantha is due to the fact that Lord Shiva Shankara held the poison in his voice to save the world from the terrible poison that arose during the churning of the sea, so that his voice turned blue.

So since then another name has emerged for him called "Nilakantha". Lord Shiva Sankara composed different types of leelas at different times. As a result, we continue to walk the way He directs us.
