I wouldn't have minded if the user simply posted the links fo the posts that he was trying to promote, but to use my image as his main indicated to me that he did not understand the implications, or did not care. In this case it was that he did not understand. He does now, and to his credit, has posted here on this post apologising once again, which he did not have to do.

An honest mistake then. Now, with apologies and forgiveness all around, hopefully a lesson has been learned here. If you're using something you don't own, then the courteous thing to do would be to at least credit the person who's created it :-)
